چکیده
Glyphosate (GP) is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide which used for killing wide variety of harmful plants. Several recent studies indicate possible adverse health effects on humans. This work focused detection and adsorption GP its metabolite aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) silver-capped silicon nanopillars using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Density Functional Theory with the B3LYP functional was employed geometry optimization ground state geometries simulation SERS spectra AMPA. The theoretically calculated experimentally observed vibrations AMPA free attached to Ag surface exhibited different revealing chemical interactions between analysed molecules metal surface. DFT confirmed that main Ag-GP interaction oxygen from carboxylic phosphate groups, andfor via strong nitrogen NH In order study binding behavior, isotherm analysis (AgNPs) were performed. Finally, obtained isotherms followed negative cooperative mechanism.

Tautomerism of Cytosine on Silver, Gold, and Copper: Raman Spectroscopy and Density Functional Theory Calculation Study
Tautomerism of pyrimidine base cytosine has been comparatively examined on nanoparticle and roughened plate surfaces of silver, gold, and copper by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The SERS spectrum was found to be different depending on the metals and their substrate conditions suggesting the dissimilar population of various tautomers of cytosine on the surfaces. The ab initio calcula...

stabilized Ag Nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized using Lee-Meisel method under three different conditions in an oil bath. UV-Vis spectroscopy of the Ag NPs showed a Localized Surface Plasmon (LSP) band around 430 nm, indicating Ag NPs had a size range around 40 nm. To fabricate a surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) substrate, LSP properties of Ag NPs was employed with the goal of detec...

The active substrates in surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy were prepared through self-assembly of nanoparticles on functionalized glasses. Colloidal silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were prepared chemically in two different sizes by reduction of AgNO3 using trisodium citrate and sodium borohydride. Gold–silver core–shell nanoparticles were also prepared to compare between the o...
